The cross section module is designed to visualize data along vertical and horizontal axis.
The window contains 4 widgets :
the analysis widget contains an histogram and a chromaticity diagram (visible if the current output is RGB),
the settings widget contains the post process options that can be applied to the current layer. The available data depends on the type of the layer,
the preview widget contains a preview of the current post processed image, you can select the point displayed in the cross sections by picking a pixel in the preview,
the horizontal and vertical curve widgets contain the cross section data.
You can select the point you want to visualize by selecting the picker mode in the preview widget header, and picking a point in the image.
You can select the layer you want to preview by choosing one in the preview widget footer.
Using this module, the save button has the following options :
LDR output : the processed output (the image currently displayed on screen) saved to a *.png file,
Cross section data : the cross section values pixel per pixel, saved to a *.csv file (this file can also be opened with Excel).

Some display options are available on the top right corner :
The fill option defines if curves are drawn with a line or filled bellow the line,
The split option defines whether multiple curves must be layered or splitted.
