General :
The Predict Unity package can now be loaded in Unity 6 projects. Our preferred development environment remains Unity 2022.3, that means warnings will be displayed in the Console for many deprecated functions that are used in Unity 2022.3 but no longer in Unity 6. This is not a limitation to use our package inside Unity 6, you can just ignore the Warnings, they will be taken care of when we upgrade our preferred development environment,
Engine :
On the sensor, you can now select the layers you want to compute and save in the .exr outputs,
In the engine view and in the batch renderer, you can now sort alphabetically and hide the disabled sensors from the selection combobox/list,
In the batch renderer, you can now order the frames to choose in what order they are rendered,
In the engine view, you can now send directly the current simulation to Predict Lab,
When working in false colors , the range of values displayed in the interface can now be defined either in percentages or in raw values,
Matter :
Light intensity can now be defined using rayfiles,
All area lights can now be spatially modulated using a texture,
When defining a display area light or an area light that is modulated spatially, you can now preview the placement of the uniformity texture on the Unity Scene view,
You can now define spectrums using the Abbe Cauchy representation,
Lab :
The interface has been updated along with a lot of bug fix,
The analysis tools (histogram) have been fixed and a new chromaticity diagram is available,
In the iso contours module, the display modes have been updated to enable you to display the iso zones without the contour,
The color space in which images are displayed can now be selected, and XYZ images can be converted to RGB images,
When working in false colors , the range of values displayed in the interface can now be defined either in percentages or in raw values, same goes for the iso contours segment positions,
The analysis tools, mapping settings and new display options are available in the cross section module,
In the point comparison module, the rect and line definition now have a preview during the selection, in addition to the average of the selected ROIs you can now display their minimum/maximum values, and display options are available for the spectral and data curves,
The currently displayed image can now be copied via a right click on the image, along with the false color scale,
